Astronomical calculations
Astronomy Engine calculates solar, lunar and planetary positions, rise/set events and eclipses. Sidereal positions use an approximate mean Lahiri model; Rahu and Ketu use mean lunar nodes. Charts use whole-sign houses and Navamsa divisions. This is not a certified high-precision almanac.
Festival dates
Festival dates for 1900–2100 are produced locally from astronomical calculations and documented tithi, sunrise or observance-window rules. A date is withheld when a rule still needs verification, such as Bhadra, Rohini or regional precedence. Observance can vary by city and tradition; confirm local ceremonies and exact timings with a trusted local almanac or temple.
Original text and illustrations
Festival descriptions are original editorial summaries. Illustrations are newly AI-generated symbolic scenes. No reference-site photographs, logos, articles or layouts have been reused. References support factual checking.
